| What is NIX.CZ? |

| NIX.CZ, z.s.p.o. is a professional association of legal entities, associating its members, i.e. Internet service providers from the Czech Republic and abroad,
with an aim to interconnect their Internet networks. The Association also provides services to its customers. |

| What is peering? |

| Peering is interconnection of separate Internet networks for the purpose of exchanging data traffic between them.
Peering agreements usually do not include any financial settlement. |

Association Membership
| What conditions do I have to fulfil to become member of NIX.CZ association? |

| General Condition of Affiliation: |
| 1. Carry out activities related to the Internet. |
| 2. Have your own autonomous system number (ASN) assigned. In case any legal entity applying for membership in NIX.CZ Association has not been assigned their own ASN, it is necessary to provide written permission from the owner of the ASN. |

| How does the formal procedure of the affiliation look? |

| 1. Fill in and sign the Membership Application and send it to our registered office address. |
| 2. After the application is approved by the Board of Directors, you will receive the Membership fee payment notice. |
| 3. Your intranet access will be set up on the first day of the membership in the association. |
| 4. Enter and update the information on the Intranet. |
| 5. Port installation. |

| What are the steps to connect to the infrastructure of the NIX.CZ Association? |

| 1. Become a member of the NIX.CZ Association. |
|
2. To connect a port to the infrastructure of NIX.CZ Association it is needed to arrange installation of data cable (metallic or fibre) connected to NIX.CZ racks.
Here you can find information on some companies providing circuits to NIX.CZ. |

| When does the membership in NIX.CZ Association begin? |

| Membership in the NIX.CZ Association begins after the entering Membership fee has been paid, from the first calendar day of the following month. |

| What advantages over customers will I enjoy as a member? |
|---|
Each association member has the right to take part in general meetings and thus co-decide on the development and financial management of the Association.
Each member has the possibility to participate in workshops organized by the NIX.CZ Association free of charge.
In case of liquidation of the Association its members are eligible for a share of the liquidation balance. |

| Who can participate in general meetings? |

| Each association member is represented at general meetings by their statutory body or a member (members) of their statutory body who is, as evidenced by a current extract from the commercial register, authorized to act on behalf of the association member, or by a representative on the basis of a written power of attorney. |

| How to proceed when I want to leave the NIX.CZ Association? |
|---|
Any association member is authorized to withdraw from the Association by sending a written notice of withdrawal addressed to the Board of Directors.
In such case the membership terminates as of the last day of the month in which the notice of withdrawal was delivered to the Board of Directors. |

| When do I become a customer of NIX.CZ? |

| You become a customer on the day when the Agreement on Service Delivery has been signed by both contracting parties. |

| How to proceed when I want to leave the NIX.CZ Association? |
|---|
| The Customer may give a written notice of the termination, without necessity to give a reason. Termination notice period is three months and is counted from the first day of the calendar month immediately following after the date on which the notice is delivered to NIX.CZ registed office. |

| What is a TLD? |
|---|
Top Level Domain is an Internet domain of the highest level within the Internet domain names structure. It is the last part of an Internet domain name, that is, the group of letters that follow the final dot of any domain name (e.g. in www.nix.cz the TLD is “cz”).
There are three types of TLD – country-code TLD, generic (e.g. org) TLD and infrastructure TLD. |

| What services does NIX.CZ provide to TLD administrators? |

| NIX.CZ offers TLD administrators to install secondary DNS servers at the Association’s premises and network. The Association provides fully air-conditioned place for server location and an electric energy input. Due to diverse demands of TLD administrators, each contract is prepared individually. |

| 2. By return, you receive a draft of the DNS Hosting Agreement. |
| 3. Server installation according to individual needs of teh TLD administrator. |

| What are the steps to connect to the infrastructure of NIX.CZ Association? |

| The technology needed for the operation of the TLD is delivered to the Association’s address. Technical parameters of the TLD connection to the NIX.CZ infrastructure are customized to respond to individual requirements of each TLD administrator. |

How much does it cost?
| How much is the membership in the NIX.CZ Association? |
|---|
| The price is based on the current Pricelist of the Association and consists of the membership fee, installation and monthly fees and other fees where applicable. |
| The membership fee is due to be paid upon request before joining the Association and does not constitute taxable income of the Association. |
| Lump-sum invoices for the installation of ports are sent as of the day of port connection and are due in 21 days. |
| The monthly fees and the basic services are invoiced quarterly as an aggregate sum, always as of the last day of March, June, September and December and are due in 21 days later.
The quarterly invoicing also includes interest on late payments incurred due to the late payment of invoices for services and installations in the previous quarter, or other fees in conformity with the current Pricelist of the Association. |

| How much do customers pay for using services of the NIX.CZ Association? |

The price is based on the current Pricelist of the Association and consists of the setup fee, installation fees and monthly fees.
The exact amount of the fees is specified in the Agreement on Service Delivery.
The invoice for the Setup fee including the port(s) installation fee(s) under the Agreement on Service Delivery is sent as an aggregate sum as of the date of the Contract conclusion with the maturity of 21 days |

| The quarterly invoicing also includes interest on late payments incurred due to the late payment of invoices for services and installations in the previous quarter, or other fees in conformity with the current Pricelist of the Association. |

| Do I need to pay an installation fee in case of a re-connection? |

| Yes. In case that the provision of services is interrupted due to failure to pay the due amount,
a relevant installation fee will be charged upon the restoration of services. |

| Do I pay for port disconnection? |
|---|
| No. Disconnection of a port is not subject to any fee. At noc@nix.cz you need to inform us of the required date of port disconnection. |

| Do I pay for the increase or decrease in port capacity? |
|---|
| Yes. When changing the capacity of a port to a higher or lower level,
an installation fee for the required port needs always to be paid according to the current pricelist. |

| Can I obtain a discount when connecting from more places? |
|---|
| No. NIX.CZ provides no discounts for multiple connections. |

| Since when am I charged for the connection to the NIX.CZ infrastructure? |
|---|
| For members, the basic service (connection) is charged from their membership commencement date.
The fees for the services of the physical port connection are charged from the day of port installation. |
| For customers, the service fee is charged from the day of port installation. |

| What happens if I fail to pay on time? |
|---|
|
In case of default payments the NIX.CZ association is authorized to charge the debtor interest on late payment amounting to 0.1% of the due amount for each commenced day of the delay and the debtor is obliged to pay such interest if invited to do so. |
| The debtor is also published on the Association’s Intranet until the due amount is paid in full. |
| In case any association member or customer fails to pay the due amount
within two weeks from receiving the written notice, the Association is entitled to suspend the provision of services. |

Technical Matters
| How to proceed when changing MAC address? |
|---|
| The change of MAC address only needs to be announced if you are applying for equipment configuration or replacement while the EhterChannel is configured.
This router address is configured statically in ACL on the side of NIX. |

| How do I know that we are prepared for IPv6? |
|---|
| If your active elements support the IPv6 protocol,
you only need to send an application for the assignment of an IPv6 address to noc@nix.cz
One physical port is assigned one IPv6 address. See more in the Operating Rules, Clause PI/13 and PI/14. |

| Who administers the cabling? (and other equipment) |
|---|
| The interconnection to a NIX node is arranged by the customer on the basis of an agreement of interconnection in a particular telehouse accommodating NIX Association’s technologies.
The available interfaces are listed in Clause PI/2 of the Operating Rules. |

| What is port trunking (EtherChannel)? |
|---|
| It allows grouping several physical links to create one logical Ethernet link for the purpose of providing fault-tolerance and high-speed
links between switches, routers and servers. EtherChannel can, naturally, be used even for three or more physical links. See more in Clause PI/4 of the Operating Rules. |
