2005-12-0712/7/2005 - NIX.CZ has exceeded 10 Gbps boundary!

The data traffic flowing through Neutral Internet Exchange node NIX.CZ infrastructure has exceeded a significant boundary of 10 Gbps. By exceeding this boundary, NIX.CZ peering node has joined the largest peering nodes in Europe. NIX.CZ members have doubled their exchange traffic through the peering node in less than a year, reaching this important milestone.


About NIX.CZ association
NIX.CZ, z.s.p.o. (professional association of legal entities) is an association of notable Czech Internet Service Providers (ISP). The objective of the association is to support a neutral interchange (peering) node (Neutral Internet Exchange), facilitating mutual interconnection of member Internet networks (peering). Another objective is the protection of common interests of Inernet-type network operators in Czech Republic.
