2008-06-04NIX.CZ - 40Gb/s data flow, new Operating Rules and Conditions of Affiliation , new logo and WWW and .RU, .EU in NIX!

NIX.CZ, the largest peering exchange in the Czech Republic has achieved another significant success. The data flow of NIX.CZ has reached 40Gb/s and keeps growing. Today, the Association published the new Operating Rules, which make the affiliation of new members and customers even easier. In the first half of 2008, the Anycast Top Level Domains of Russia ( .RU) and European Union( .EU) became the members/customers of the NIX.CZ Association. The Association has also introduced the new logo and upgraded web site.

The largest Czech peering exchange has been witnessing significant changes recently. After one and half year, the data flow through the NIX.CZ peering exchange has doubled again, not only thanks to the ever growing number of members/customers but also to the increasing number of high-capacity ports. At the present time, preparations are in progress to enable another increase of the overall capacity of the exchange.

The new Operating Rules, simplifying the conditions for the affiliation of new members/customers, offer new possibilities for future cooperation. After having connected the Anycast Top Level Domain of Russia Ruska (.RU) and European Union (.EU), the Association focuses on direct marketing in order to promote the activities at the national as well as international level. In relation to this, the Association has introduced the new logo and upgraded web site.
