2011-01-04Price list 2011 of NIX.CZ Association

Prague (2011-01-04) The General Meeting of NIX.CZ Association, which operates the largest Czech Internet Exchange Point (IXP) has approved the 2011 budget and price list of the Association. The budget of the Association slightly increased compared to budgets from the past years. The most significant change in the new price list is abolishment of Set up fee for customers and change of interface.

The slightly increased budget is mainly because of higher operation costs of nodes and circuits costs. At the same time the budget reflects planned marketing activities connected to NIX.CZ 15th Anniversary.

The new price list will primarily count with the abolishment of the Set up fee for customers, which was until now 50 000,-- CZK. Another change, starting the New Year, will be the change of interface within the optical connections from the transceiver slot to transceiver in the switch of NIX.CZ. This change will make easier the connection of new ports, while members/customers will not have to provide own 1GB and 10GB transceivers on the side of NIX.CZ.
