How much does it cost?
How much is membership of the NIX.CZ Association?
The price is based on the current Pricelist of the Association and consists of the membership fee (initial), installation and monthly fees and other fees where applicable.
The membership fee is due to be paid upon request before joining the Association and does not constitute taxable income of the Association.
A Lump-sum invoice for the installation of ports is sent on the day of port connection and is due to be paid within 21 days.
Monthly fees and basic services are invoiced quarterly as an aggregate sum, always as of the last day of March, June, September and December and should be paid within 21 days . Quarterly invoicing also includes interest on late payments incurred due to the late payment of invoices for services and installations in the previous quarter, or other fees, in conformity with the current Pricelist of the Association.
How much do customers pay for using the services of the NIX.CZ Association?
The price is based on the current Pricelist of the Association and consists of the setup fee, installation fees and monthly fees.
The exact amount is specified in the Agreement on Service Delivery.
The invoice for the Setup fee including the port(s) installation fee(s) under the Agreement on Service Delivery is sent as an aggregate sum as of the date of the Contract conclusion with a deadline of 21 days for payment.
The monthly fees and the basic service are invoiced quarterly as an aggregate sum, always as of the last day of March, June, September and December with a deadline of 21 days for payment .
Quarterly invoicing also includes interest on late payments incurred due to the late payment of invoices for services and installations in the previous quarter, or other fees in conformity with the current pricelist of the Association.
Do I need to pay an installation fee in case of a re-connection?
Yes. In the case that the provision of services is interrupted due to failure to pay the due amount, the relevant installation fee will be charged upon the restoration of services.
Do I pay for port disconnection?
No. Disconnection of a port is not subject to any fee but you need to inform us of the required date of port disconnection by contacting
noc@nix.cz.
Do I pay for an increase or decrease in port capacity?
Yes. When changing the capacity of a port to a higher or lower level, an installation fee for the required port needs to be paid according to the current pricelist.
Can I obtain a discount when connecting from more places?
No. NIX.CZ provides no discounts for multiple connections.
From what point am I charged for connection to the NIX.CZ infrastructure?
For members, the basic service (connection) is charged from their membership commencement date. Fees for the services of the physical port connection are charged from the day of port installation. For customers, the service fee is charged from the day of port installation.
What happens if I fail to pay on time?
In the case of defaults on payments the NIX.CZ association is authorized to charge the debtor interest on late payments amounting to 0.1% of the due amount for each commenced day of delay and the debtor is obliged to pay such interest when asked to do so.
Details of defaults are also published on the Association’s Intranet until such time as the due amount is paid in full.
In case any Association member or customer fails to pay the due amount within two weeks from receiving the written notice, the Association is entitled to suspend the provision of services.
